Over 1,000 flights have been delayed on Monday due to a winter storm that is moving across the Midwest.

According to Flightaware.com, nearly 1,000 flights within, into, or out of the United States were cancelled on Monday.

Snow began falling Sunday, causing 5,759 flight delays and 1.286 cancellations across the country.
