80-degree weather to start the week
Enjoy the mild and dry air because a prolonged heat wave is expected next week. Partly cloudy skies will move in tonight with lows falling into the upper 50s, one of the last nights you can leave the windows open. Saturday will feature more cloud cover, but the high clouds will only filter the sunshine so temperatures will shoot into the mid 80s. By Father's Day, highs should hit 90 and the humidity returns in the evening. All of next week is then situated to have a full-blown heat wave of multiple days in the 90s with high humidity, making much of next week feel like 100 in the afternoons. Importantly, overnight lows will stay in the low to mid 70s which makes it extremely difficult to cool down. Heat waves are the number one weather killer, so please use caution next week by staying cool and hydrating! There is very low to no chances of rain next week as well besides perhaps a stray pop-up shower in the afternoon from the high heat and humidity.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 58.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy/filtered sunshine. High 84.
Sunday: Hot, partly cloudy, and a little humid. High 90.
Monday: Very hot and humid, partly cloudy. High 96.
