Mishawaka leaf pick-up program begins April 12

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Mayor Dave Wood announced today that the Mishawaka Street Department will provide a one-week leaf pick-up for residents in April.

From Monday, April 12 through Friday, April 16, crews will be coming by to pick up leaves from residences.

Leaves should be raked to the edge of the curb and free of twigs, branches, stones, or other foreign objects that could damage equipment.

Leaves will be picked up the day before the resident’s regular trash pick-up day. Those with a Monday trash pick-up day will get their leaves picked up on Friday, April 16.
