Mom gives birth after death and is then revived

RICHMOND, Texas -- A Texas woman died, her baby was delivered, then was revived. 

Erica Nigrelli's heart stopped beating and she collapsed at the high school where she works.

Her doctor’s first priority was to deliver the baby. The doctor then installed a pacemaker that saved her life.

Right now the baby is still in the hospital recovering.

"She is very strong. She is probably stronger than a lot of us actually but she is still on oxygen," said Nigrelli.

Doctors have determined that the new mom's problems started with an undiagnosed heart condition.
