More than $400 worth of items stolen from softball press box

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police are investigating after someone broke into the press box at Elkhart Memorial High School.

Officers say the press box at the softball field was broken into sometime between Wednesday and Monday.

The suspects forced their way in, set off a fire extinguisher and took off with softball bats, food, and drinks.

In total, more than $400 worth of items were taken.

Surveillance video of the break-in is not available and police do not have any suspects at this time.
