Motorcyclist injured in crash in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- A 72-year-old man was injured in a motorcycle crash on M-60 in Howard Township Thursday morning, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

According to deputies, the crash happened just after midnight when the driver lost control of the motorcycle, leaving the roadway. 

The driver was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor, and a helmet was not worn by the driver.
