ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries after crashing with a passenger vehicle in Mishawaka on Thursday morning. 

The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team responded to the crash, which occurred at the intersection of McKinley Highway and Merrifield Avenue. 

The driver of the motorcycle was transferred to a local hospital and treated for life-threatening injuries. Officials have not provided an update on his condition. 

The driver of the passenger vehicle was also treated for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team
