Motorola Mobility to cut 4,000 jobs

Motorola Mobility, a cell phone maker company owned by Google, plans to cut 4,000 jobs.

They also plan to close about one-third of its 90 facilities. These cuts are the result of declining profits. Google said two-thirds of the job cuts will happen outside of the U.S.

The company expects to pay a severance-related charge of $275 million.
