UPDATE: Juvenile identified, BB gun confiscated, after multiple vehicles were damaged while traveling on Red Arrow Highway
VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- UPDATE: The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office reports through investigation and tips, a school resource deputy identified a juvenile suspect involved in incident resulting in damage to multiple vehicles on Red Arrow Highway.
Deputies say a BB gun was also located and confiscated.
The report will be forwarded to the prosecutor's office for review and possible charges.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to the 29000 block of Red Arrow Highway for reports of multiple vehicles being damaged while traveling east around 7:10 a.m., Tuesday.
Authorities found at least three vehicles were struck by an unknown projectile from the north side of the road.
The initial investigation determined the damage was not from any sort of high-powered firearm.
All three vehicles suffered damage to the driver's side front doors including the windows.
No vehicle occupants sustained injuries.
The case remains under investigation.
