ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Local first responders cast a line with kids from the Boys and Girls Club at a pond at McCormick Creek Golf Club in Nappanee.
“Is about creating unique opportunities and so we decided that we would partner with our local parks department and create a fishing experience with our club members. And to make it a little more special we partnered with our communities first responders,” Mandy Gerber, area director of the Boys and Girls Club of Nappanee.
Almost all of the kids pulled at least one fish out of the pound Thursday.
