ND running back coach leaves the Irish

The Notre Dame football program has lost a member of their staff to another powerhouse college football program.

Tony Alford, the running back coach for the Fighting Irish has announced he is headed to The Ohio State University where he will take on the same role.

Alford will be replacing Ohio State's running back coach Stan Drayton, who left the Buckeyes to become the running back coach for the Chicago Bears.

Alford is the third coach to leave ND for the Buckeyes since head coach Urban Meyer took over the program in 2012.
