Nearly 2,000 new domain names unveiled

Internet domain name options could be expanding.
The non-profit group that oversees web addresses began the application process for new endings last year.
More than 1,900 proposals for new domain names were submitted. Some of the hottest new names on the list include, “.web,” .lol,” and even “.sex.”
The first new domains are expected to go live early next year.
