SOUTH BEND, Ind.—New Chief of Elkhart Police Department, Chris Snyder, was live in ABC57’s studio on Wednesday morning, discussing his new position.
Snyder took over the role as Chief on January 7 and hopes to lead the department in “a different direction.”
“We’re going to work on our transparency and our accountability for our officers,” Snyder said.
Snyder has been with the Elkhart Police Department for almost 22 years.
