New Indiana state historical marker ceremony on June 6

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The public is invited to attend a dedication ceremony for the new Indiana state historical marker commemorating the Studebaker Corporation on Friday, June 6. 

The ceremony will be held at 635 S. Lafayette Blvd. in South Bend at 4 p.m. Parking will be available along the side streets in the area and in the lot adjacent to the site. 

The new historical marker is sponsored by Studebaker National Museum, the William G. Pomeroy Foundation, and Kevin and Sue Smith, and is dedicated in memory of Nancy Lea Jones Pfahler.

This is also the 25th Indiana state historical marker installed in St. Joseph County.
