New phone app allows for folks to split the food ticket

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- You know when you have food delivered to your home for a group of people paying as a group is always a bit awkward.

Well one college kid has come up with an idea to solve that problem.

A student at the University of Virginia created an app that helps divide a take out bill.

The owner said he is trying to revolutionize the way we order food.

With the app called "Foodio" you can place an orde and each person can pay their share via their credit card on their phone.
