ELKHART, Ind. – The E3 Robotics Center in Elkhart aims at inspiring students through teamwork, leadership and academics.
The programs at the center are for students in kindergarten through 12th grades.
Alex Wisemen, a student in Elkhart, agrees that there are many beneficial aspects of the program.
“It tests your patience with other people. It tests your leadership skills, especially mine. It’ll help you with teamwork in an aspect that you can never get with any other program. I believe it is truly unique and has a lot to offer,” Wiseman said.
The E3 Robotics Center was once a part of The ETHOS Innovation Center before separating.
60 students in the community are served by the E3 Robotics Center.
Students begin with Lego robots before working their way up to competitions.
The three “E’s” stand for Exploration, Education and Engagement.
