New sanctions announced against Russia

The White House just announced new sanctions against Russian officials and companies with ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

They are the latest effort to pressure Moscow to stop military action in Ukraine.

So far, the sanctions have not had a major impact as Russian loyalists continue to slowly take over Eastern Ukraine.
