New trial date set for accused killer Biffle

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A judge set a new trial date for a South Bend man charged in a deadly double shooting.
Police say 29-year old Brandon Biffle shot and killed 53-year old Johnnie Avance inside his Olive Street home in August.
Then officers say he killed 55-year-old Donald Paris who happened to walk by.
Police ended up shooting Biffle. He has since recovered.
His trial is set for March 11th.
