Nick Sams' cause of death released

The St. Joseph County Coroner's Office has released the cause of death for Nick Sams, whose body was found in the St. Joseph River in March.
Nick Sams' cause of death was drowning. The manner of death is undetermined.
The autopsy results on Crystal Reyes are not available yet.
Reyes and Sams disappeared in December 2014.
Reyes' body was found inside an SUV in the St. Joseph River on March 17. Sams' body was found on March 21, also in the St. Joseph River, 200 yards from where the SUV was discovered.
