VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- No arrests were made after detectives with the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) West and Michigan State Police Troopers served a search warrant Tuesday in Porter Township and discovered over 50 guns, along with multiple drugs.
The Michigan State Police are reporting that a search warrant was served at a residence in the 2700 block of Hayne Road on July 15.
Authorities say the warrant stemmed from a human trafficking and cocaine distribution investigation.
"Cocaine, crack cocaine, schedule IV prescription pills, and multiple firearms were seized," the MSP SWET stated.
"No arrests were made, but charges are being sought through the Van Buren County Prosecutor’s Office."
