Notre Dame dominates Arkansas 56-13 for second straight win
Freshman quarterback C.J. Carr was the star of the afternoon. He completed over 73% of his passes, throwing for 354 yards and four touchdowns in just his latest breakout performance. On the ground, Jadarian Price powered the run game with 86 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Jeremiyah Love added balance, recording 57 yards on 14 carries and finding the end zone twice through the air. Wideout Jordan Faison emerged as Carr’s top target, hauling in 89 yards. The defense answered the call too. Safety Adon Shuler led with nine tackles, while Tae Johnson chipped in five. The Irish also notched three sacks, three tackles for loss, and a timely interception from Luke Talich to keep Arkansas in check. After the game, head coach Marcus Freeman praised his team’s resilience, saying he was proud of the way players blocked out the noise and prepared on both sides of the ball.
