Notre Dame Hockey players attend Big Brothers Big Sisters picnic

Notre Dame Hockey players joined in on the fun during a Big Brothers Big Sisters event Tuesday.

The organization held a picnic at Potawatomi Park complete with food, games, prizes, and even a rock climbing wall.

"We really pride ourselves in being really active in our community and anytime that involves, you know, kids, I mean I think the guys are really excited to do that and just to be able to have a good time with the kids and hang out, you know show them a little bit of fun, the guys are really excited,” said Cal Peterson, Notre Dame Hockey captain.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saint Joseph County holds this picnic every fall to give back to those who make the program possible.
