The Notre Dame football team wants to extend its home game winning streak this weekend in its game against USC on Saturday.
Two strong defensive performances in a row - 8 sacks last week and a shut out here at home, it's going to be another great defensive performance if they want to get the job done against USC.
Notre Dame beat USC last season, coming back from a 10 point deficit.
Head Coach Brian Kelly talked about that game at his weekly press conference and said his staff, his team really learned a lot about this USC team from looking at last year's film.
"Really wasn't necessarily the same system, but they did play like that against us. Where the ball came out quick, there were free access throws, We kind of morphed into trying to keep the ball in front of us. This is a bit of a different offensive system where it's a very fast tempo. They are keeping pressure on you where they are looking to push the ball vertically down field. This is a big play offense," Coach Kelly said.
USC has lost the last three times it has played at Notre Dame Stadium.
