Notre Dame vs. Navy

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -

After their heart-wrenching loss to Clemson last week, Notre Dame is looking to earn a victory against another undefeated team in week 7 of College Football.

Notre Dame fell nine spots from No. 6 to No. 15 after losing to Clemson with a final score of 22 to 24. The loss left many wondering whether or not Head Coach Brian Kelly can lead the Irish to make the college football playoffs.

“I don't know. But we do know what we can control and that is winning each week," said Kelly.

The Fighting Irish will receive the ball in this game.

Just minutes in, Navy’s Toneo Gulley scores the first touchdown of the game with 12:48 left in the first quarter putting the score 7-0.

The Irish would tie this game at 7 soon after when Kizer takes it in from the one yard line with 7:30 left in the first quarter.

The score remains the same at the end of the first quarter, both teams are tied at 7.

Navy fumbles! Notre Dame falls on the fumble to recover the ball with 10:42 left in the first half.

Just moments later, Notre Dame scores their second touchdown when C.J. Prosise cuts back and takes it in himself putting the score at 14-7, Irish. 10:37 left in the first half.

C.J. Prosise would score a touchdown but the call is reversed because of a holding call on Alize Jones.

Touchdown Notre Dame! Kizer to Fuller for a 30 yard pass and he runs it in to the end zone putting Notre Dame at 21, Navy at 7 with 7:10 left in the first half.

Navy scores a touchdown after running it in from 45 yards out which puts the score at 21-14. Notre Dame still leads this one with 4:49 left in the first half.

Just moments later, an interception! Navy intercepts the pass to Will Fuller with 1:15 left in the first half. Notre Dame leads 21-14.

Another touchdown by Navy just before the end of the first half which ties the score at 21. Just 23 seconds left before halftime.

The Irish Field goal attempt is good from 52 yards out! Notre Dame leads going into halftime 24-21.

Coming back from halftime, a fumble! Notre Dame recovers the ball just seconds into the 3rd quarter. Score: 24-21, Notre Dame.

Notre Dame scores a touchdown just seconds after recovering the ball! The score is now 31-21 Notre Dame with 14:16 left in the 3rd.

Another touchdown from Notre Dame in the 3rd quarter, C.J. Prosise just couldn't be taken down and the extra point is also good! Notre Dame leads 38-21 with 7:04 left in the 3rd quarter.

Navy's 40 yard field goal attempt is good putting them up a few more points and the score at 38-24, Irish. 1:18 left in the third quarter.
