Notre Dame's annual damaged book sale kicks off

Students at the University of Notre Dame got some deep discounts Wednesday at the annual dirty book sale.

For two-days, students and faculty will be able to buy dirty, damaged, and out of print books.

Notre Dame says this sale gives students in need a chance to buy books they would not normally be able to afford.

"There's a lot of students here who need these books who wouldn't be able to afford them any other way," said Notre Dame's Marketing and Promotions Exhibit Coordinator Susan Berger.

The sale will continue Thursday depending on what inventory is left after Wednesday's opening.
