NYPD: Pipe bomb explodes inside bus terminals; one person in custody

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The NYPD says there are some injuries after an explosion near Times Square in Manhattan.

Police sources say a pipe bomb prematurely detonated at a Port Authority bus terminal.

Police say one of the injured is the person who is in custody. 

One witness describes hearing two explosions within seconds of each other.

The Port Authority is a major transportation hub where buses and trains operate from the west side of Manhattan.
