Officers pull off sticky note prank

Kansas City, KS (WDAF) -- Police officers at the Kansas City Kansas Police Department are a colorful bunch of people — with a sense of humor.



Nothing proves that more than what happened on Tuesday. They plastered hundreds, if not thousands, of sticky notes on a fellow officer's car.



The occasion?



His 50th birthday.



The sticky notes — bought out-of-pocket by the wily men and women involved — were even color coordinated. Yellow body, blue doors, pink tires. Because every man at 50 wants pink tires. Right?



As for the officer and his reaction? On the record, all we can say is he was really surprised.
