Officials confirm suspicious death in Berrien County

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – ABC 57 has received multiple reports of a suspicious death in Berrien County.

Sunday afternoon authorities confirmed reports of a dead individual in Benton Harbor.

According to officials, officers responded to a call in the 1200 block of Superior Street. 

When officers arrived to the scene they discovered a deceased female in the residence. 

The woman has been identified as 36-year-old Jeanette Finehout, who was found dead in a bedroom of the home. 

Detectives are investigating Finehout's death as suspicious pending the autopsy.
