Ohio woman holds 'idiot' sign for punishment

CLEVELAND -- A woman was caught on tape driving on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus and as punishment she had to stand outside holding a sign basically saying she's an idiot.

The video shows Shena Hardin driving up on the sidewalk. She didn't do it just once, but twice and the school bus driver she was passing caught it all on tape.

So Wednesday, Hardin was sentenced to the creative punishment with the sign saying, "Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk," but witnesses said she didn't seem sorry at all.

"She's been texting, she's been smoking, she got sunglasses on and it's snowing outside, you know, she don't care," said Lisa Kelly

She did offer a statement saying that, "If you make poor or bad choices, you have to suffer the consequences."
