One arrested, drugs and over two dozen guns seized following multi-agency investigation
SWET BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- A man is in jail after a search warrant led to the discovery of over two dozen guns alongside cocaine and diazepam pills on Monday.
The search warrant was executed at a home in the 3000 block of Michael Road in Pipestone Township by the Southwest Enforcement Team, the Berrien County Sheriff's Office, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Authorities say they located over 31 firearms, including several ghost guns and a stolen firearm, along with cocaine, over 100 diazepam pills, and more firearm components.
The suspect, a 41-year-old Pipestone Township man, was arrested and taken to the Berrien County Jail on felony charges, including Drug Trafficking, Felony Firearm, Receiving and Concealing a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Metallic Knuckles, and Maintaining a Drug House.
Police also learned the suspect had two outstanding bench warrants.
The investigation remains ongoing.
