One dead in crash on Nickerson Avenue

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - One person is dead after a crash at the intersection of Nickerson Avenue and Pipestone Road Wednesday morning.
Deputies say a Benton Harbor woman went through a red light at the intersection and hit a box truck that had the green light.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the box truck was not injured.
Deputies don't believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
