After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
LA PORTE, Ind.-- Police confirmed that one person is dead following a structure fire Tuesday night.
The fire happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night on State Street and Linwood Avenue.
Police Chief Tom Owens confirmed that one person died.
Police and fire officials are investigating the fire but say no foul play is suspected.
The victim's name has not been released.
