Vandals hit four mausoleums at Crystal Springs Cemetery
ELKHART, Ind. – One man is dead and another is in stable condition following the shooting on Stevens Avenue Thursday, the Elkhart Police Department reported.
The shooting happened just before 10 a.m. in the 1600 block of Stevens Avenue.
Police say a 17-year-old man was pronounced dead.
A second man was taken to the hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.
