After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.--- Berrien County Sheriffs are investigating a deadly crash on Port Street, right in front of the Berrien County Jail. Officials say that one person is dead and three others are injured as a result of this crash.
Officials got to the scene at 7:12 Sunday morning. When they got there, they found a black sedan that was overturned.
According to officials two of the four people riding in the car were ejected from the car. One of the people we was ejected died from their injuries, the other three were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials believe the crash stemmed from an altercation at the Blossom Acres Apartments. They also believe that the four people in the car that was wrecked were headed to Lakeland Hospital at the time of the crash.
This is an ongoing investigation.
