One injured in afternoon crash in Plain Township

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – One person suffered non-critical injuries after a crash between two vehicles on Friday afternoon, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 1:50 p.m., deputies were called to the 4700 block of N. State Road 15 for reports of a two-vehicle crash.

An investigation shows that a northbound 2012 Buick Verano allegedly crossed the center line and struck a 2019 cargo trailer that was towed behind a southbound 2000 Ford pickup truck, deputies said.

The driver and passengers in the Ford pickup were not injured in the crash.

The driver of the Verano was taken from the scene by ambulance with a non-critical shoulder injury.
