One injured in two-vehicle crash caused by drunk driver

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Levi Livermore of Niles was making a turn from M 60 onto Reum St. when he lost control, hit two street signs, and then another vehicle.

The Cass County Sheriff reported a two-vehicle crash on June 22, around 4:50 p.m. involving the 24-year-old. 

59-year-old Larry Robinson of Buchanan was heading east on Reum St. when his vehicle was hit by Livermore. 

Robinson had one passenger who was treated on scene, and Livermore was also treated on scene. 

Larry Robinson was then transported to the hospital for injuries caused by the crash. 

Alcohol is a known factor in the crash and the investigation is still ongoing. 

It is also unknown if all parties were wearing their seatbelts.
