One person dead, another seriously injured after rollover crash
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a single vehicle crash took place near Etna Green, Indiana.
Officials say they were called to a single vehicle rollover crash on 900 West near 700 North in Kosciusko County at 5:53 p.m.
When emergency services arrived on scene they found a 2008 Suzuki had lost control and rolled into a yard on the west side of the road.
The vehicle reportedly hit a tree after going off the road.
The driver, 35-year-old Jeremy Hartzell of Nappanee, Indiana was found unresponsive inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead on scene.
The passenger in the vehicle; Nicholas Pelc, a 25-year-old man also from Nappanee was transported to Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne for treatment to his injuries.
Officials say the crash is under investigation.
