One person hospitalized after car crashes into semi trailer

One person was taken to the hospital after an accident involving a vehicle and a semi at Elm and the US 20 bypass Tuesday morning.
Penn Fire and Southwest Central Fire Territory responded to the scene.
The driver of the car that rear ended the semi had to be extricated by firefighters.
The person injured was taken to Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
