SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 12:45 am in the 1000 block of Allen Street in South Bend.
Officers say that they found one victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital for further treatment; police say their injuries were minor

UPDATE: South Bend police say the shooting is believed to have happened in the 3200 block of Lincolnway West, but the victim traveled to Allen Street to report the shooting. The violent crimes unit is handling the investigation.
