Spring storms bring hail to Michiana Wednesday
ELKHART, Ind.--- Friday is the last day to sign up for Guidance Ministries' Operation Christmas program. The program looks to fill the gap for families with older children and those who have missed the deadline for other holiday assistance programs.
This is the 19th year for the event. Signups are from 9 a.m. until noon at Guidance Ministries.
Those interested in signing up must bring:
- Photo ID and Social Security Cards for every adult living in the household
- Social Security Cards and birth certificates for every child younger than 18
- A proof of residence separate from photo ID
- Proof of income
Those wishing to donate to Operation Christmas should bring unwrapped gifts to Guidance Ministries and keep in mind that older children will also benefit from the program.
