BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Pokagon band and the Four Winds Casino held another holiday household giveaway earlier today.
Both organizations are teaming up with the non-profit Presents Pillars foundation to help local families in need.
Hundreds of people stopped by today to pick up holiday supplies and help everyone get in the spirit of giving.
Mario Bledsoe Lieutenant and Core Officer of the Salvation Army saying
"The biggest thing that the community want from the Salvation Army when we got here was for us to be a presence. And so we that's what we try to do. However, there's a need, wherever there's a need, we just try to be a presence. And so the community has responded in a positive and beautiful way with us being here."
