NILES, Mich. -- First responders were on the scene of a crash at S. 11th Street and Silverbrook Avenue involving a vehicle and a bicyclist, according to Berrien County dispatch.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m.
Sgt. Miller from the Niles Michigan City Police confirmed with ABC57 that it was an officer related incident.
Police said an officer was driving a pickup truck that was involved in the accident.
The bicyclist was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The bicyclist's name has not yet been released because the family has not been notified.
No other injuries have been reported at this time.
