Police officer involved in crash in Mishawaka

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A St. Joseph County Police officer was involved in a crash in Mishawaka Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 4:45 p.m.
The crash happened at Bittersweet and McKinley.
One person was transported to the hospital, but dispatch did not know who was injured or the extent of their injuries.
