Police release photo of SUV related to homicide investigation

LAKE STATION, Ind. -- The Lake Station Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened on Ripley Street in Lake Station. Police have released a photo of a vehicle of interest in the case.

Police were dispatched to the Ripley Street home just after 2 p.m. on Monday in regards to a gunshot victim.

When officers and paramedics arrived, the victim was already deceased.

Witnesses told police a blue Blazer with a black male inside was seen fleeing the scene right after the incident.
