Summer weather in Michiana has finally arrived, but will it last?
Pools and splash pads all across the area saw one of their first busy days of the summer season on Monday with temperatures climbing into the 80s.
Merrifield Pool opened up their gates to eager customers for the first time all year on Monday, and plenty of families came out to enjoy day one.
The Norma Jean Somers splash pad out in Coloma, Michigan just opened last week and is already seeing a rise in attendance.
The $189,000 splash pad has been in development for more than a year, and the city hopes it will help keep Coloma residents in the area instead of heading to other nearby towns when families want to make a splash.
More information about many of the water activities happening across Michiana can be found here.
