Pope ends Cuba visit, meets with Fidel Castro

HAVANA -- Pope Benedict XVI’s three-day trip to Cuba has ended.

He headed back to the Vatican Wednesday night. Photos show the pontiff's meeting with former Cuban president Fidel Castro.

They spoke for 30 minutes about faith and freedom. Their meeting followed the pope's open air mass in front of thousands.
