Popular South Bend restaurant fined by health department

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A place that boasts fine dining on the St. Joseph River in South Bend is being slapped with a meaty fine.
The Emporium on Niles Avenue is being ordered by the St. Joseph Co. Health Department to pay more than $1000 in fines.
This comes after a number of violations during inspections.
The restaurant is also on probation for 6-months.
