Portage Township helping residents with their spring cleaning

Carsten Schertzer / CC BY 2.0 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Portage Township announced Tuesday that, beginning in April, they will launch a program called Spring Cleaning to support residents with laundry costs.
Spring Cleaning will be offering residents receiving assistance from the Trustee's Office a laundry gift card through Burton's Laundry to help cover the growing costs of doing laundry.
According to the Portage Township Trustee Office, laundry can cost families $50 or more per month.
