Potawatomi Zoo opens for the season April 1

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – No, it’s not an April Fools’ joke: the Potawatomi Zoo will open for the season on April 1!
New to the zoo this season are a new habitat, an outdoor giraffe savanna, and an indoor visitor center.
The zoo’s giraffes will share a two-acre habitat with ostriches, zebras, and birds.
Regular hours for the zoo are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. From June 1 to August 31, zoo hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Admission for the zoo is $12 for adults, $10 for children ages 3-14 and seniors 62+, and free for children ages two and under.
