SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The City of South Bend finished the Prairie Avenue Beautification Project on Monday.
The project was planned to help improve the four quadrants of the U.S.S 20/30 bypass interchange.
All of the ramps were repaved, Prairie Avenue was resurfaced, and there were new traffic signals put in place.
Pokagon Veterans helped with a flag raising ceremony to unveil the project.
Those involved in the project hoped to bring an elegant look to the gateway of the city.
